Model discussions are simulations of the real work that diplomats, politicians and government officials do all the time.

There are simulations of the kind of work done in the United Nations, these are the most common, and they're called MUN. Like ours: CT-MUN.

But we will simulate other deliberative bodies and not just the United Nations, we feel that TaiDa, ZhengDa, ChengDa, and others all do a great job already so we will do our best to participate in their Model UNs. We will also try to be a little different, since they are already doing such a good job.

So, don't think that CT-MUN is only about Model United Nations, we will do our best to add some variety, perhaps by simulating the Taiwan Legislature, Cross-Strait discussions, ASEAN, APEC, or recreating historical or fictional situations！The options are limitless.

We hope that you can leave your ego at the door, get involved, and create opportunities for peace, security, human rights, the rule of law, freedom, environmental awareness, critical thinking to flourish and spread.

Just as there is no head or office for CT-MUN, there is also no online headquarters. We aim for an ongoing conversation across all channels. Read this blog, join the Facebook group, follow updates on twitter, sign up for the mailing list, and always feel free to contribute to the conversation.
